The History of Frosty's on Oak Island
Frosty's Ice Cream dates back over 40 years! The original Frosty's would have been established sometime between 1979 and 1984. It was sold in 2004 and again 20 years later in 2024. Now on its third ownership, Frosty's remains a local & family owned/operated ice cream shop.
About the Frosty's Family
Hey y'all! We're the Jackson family - the faces behind the scenes (and often behind the counter) at Frosty's Ice Cream.
Emily is the proud owner of Frosty's, pouring her heart into every detail of the shop, while Zack serves as Vice President of Sales at Infinity Payment Systems. Together, we share a love for community, connection, and creating meaningful experiences.
We're also the proud parents of two beautiful children who you'll likely spot enjoying a scoop (or two!) from time to time. Being part of this community means everything to us, and we're grateful for careers that allow us to meet and connect with so many wonderful people.
